Grow the classic, pungent spice that is the heart of rye bread with our heirloom Caraway seeds. This historic biennial herb is cherished for its unique and flavorful seeds, which have been a staple in European baking and cooking for centuries. In its first year, the plant produces feathery, carrot-like foliage. In the second year, it sends up tall stalks topped with beautiful, lace-like white flowers that are beloved by pollinators, followed by the prized seeds.
