Grow a hardy North American native with our American Wild Licorice seeds. This tough and adaptable perennial is prized for its sweet roots, which have a flavor similar to true licorice and a long history of use in Native American traditions. The plant forms an attractive, bushy clump of fern-like leaves and produces spikes of creamy-yellow, pea-like flowers. It is a resilient plant that can spread to form a lovely patch, making it a great choice for a naturalized or prairie-style garden.
