Wrapper: Ecuadorian

Binder: Indonesian

Filler: Nicaraguan, Dominican

Profile: Medium +

Clandestino creates their blends as a tribute to the old ways of pre-embargo Cuban cigars. They create cigars specifically for people who enjoy vivid flavors, with no bitterness or sour notes. The Natural line uses an Ecuadorian Colorado wrapper, with a neutral Indonesian Sumatra binder, followed by fillers from Esteli Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This combination of leaves creates vast depth and complexity, reminiscent of those pre-embargo cigars. Prohibidos is a 5×50 robusto that is a perfect cigar for those times when time isn\’t on your side. Pair with a rye, or low proof bourbon.
