Coconut fiber pellets offer an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative to traditional peat-based pellets, making them an excellent choice for seed starting and transplant propagation. Derived from renewable coconut coir, these pellets naturally resist mold growth, providing a cleaner and healthier environment for young seedlings. Their fibrous structure allows for rapid water absorption while retaining moisture effectively, reducing the need for frequent watering and supporting consistent germination.

When hydrated, the pellets expand into a nutrient-friendly growing medium that supports strong root development and easy transplanting. The breathable texture encourages oxygen flow to roots, minimizing transplant shock when seedlings are moved into the garden or larger containers. Coconut coir also has a neutral pH, making it suitable for a wide range of crops including vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

To use, simply place pellets in a seed tray or container, add warm water to expand, and plant seeds directly into the moistened coir. Once seedlings are ready, transplant the entire pellet into the soil to avoid disturbing roots. These pellets are compostable and break down naturally, returning organic matter to the soil.
