Bharat is a hyacinth bean bush, or Dolichos lablab, variety that grows rapidly, likes the summer heat.

The complete plant is edible: young leaves can be eaten in salad, the older leaves can be cooked. But waste not want not, even the flowers are edible raw! This variety is day-neutral, and our seeds are reddish brown.
