Irish Flake is a full-bodied pipe tobacco blended with air-cured, flue-cured, and dark-fired Virginias and Burley in equal portions. It is slowly pressed for days, and then cut into flake pieces, which allows you to rub out the tobacco to your preferred texture. Peterson recommends Irish Flake for the experienced pipe smoker who enjoys pure, unadulterated tobacco taste.
