Grow a historic and powerful herb with our Valerian seeds. This hardy perennial has been a cornerstone of traditional herbal medicine for centuries, where its potent root is highly prized. The plant itself is beautiful and stately, with attractive, fern-like foliage and large, fragrant, vanilla-scented clusters of delicate pinkish-white flowers that bloom in mid-summer. A favorite of pollinators, Valerian is also famously attractive to cats, who love it as much as catnip.
