Growing instructions

• Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in deeply worked, loose soil 3 weeks before the last expected spring frost, or when soil reaches 45F.
• Depth: Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep on a slightly raised mound (about 8 inches wide).
• Care: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Ensure the soil surface above the seeds does not become hard as this may prevent the seeds from germinating.
• Thinning: When seedlings reach 2 inches high, gently thin them to 2-4 inches apart, depending on your desired carrot size.
• Harvest: Cover the tops of the carrots with soil as they emerge to keep them tender. Sow new crops every 3-6 weeks in cool climates for a continuous harvest.
